Cammo Drysuits on the North Fork of the Feather

Cammo Drysuits on the North Fork of the Feather

I just finished up a week-long class on the North Fork of the Feather River. It was awesome. 6 great days of clear skies and good water. The best part? Getting to train the 48th USAF Pararescue Squadron that drove all the way up from Tuscon, AZ for the class. Theses guys did an amazing job. Some highlights were the riverboard expedition through the Lobin run, and surfing at the Rock Creek Powerhouse. The high-line midpoint drop over Indian Falls was a ‘high point’ as well. Safe travels gentlemen and best of luck abroad. Thanks for training with Sierra Rescue!

On a side note, Belden Town has made some improvements to their facilities and played host to the PJ’s for the week. Group consensus: quiet and quaint town with great views and friendly people.
