I really enjoy teaching our open enrollment courses. You never quite know what you’re going to get. In this past River Rescue Certification courseĀ in Coloma, CA we had a wide range of Private and Commercial Boaters. Ranging from a couple who hadnt’ been in the whitewater scene for a while and wanted to brush up on their skills before heading down the grand canyon, to a youth trip leaders, to aspiring guides, to seasoned veterans. Everyone came together and worked well in the water. It was a great weekend on the banks of the SF american. You never know what you’re going to see out there, and the class was able to assist a few stranded boaters in Highway rapid. Train hard and stay safe. ZB 6.4.13
