I just got back from an amazing course in Austria. We completed a 8 day intensive WFR in Landek, Austria.
Swiftwater Rescue Scenario in WFR
Most of the students in the Wilderness First Responder were trained in river rescue and were Swiftwater Rescue Technicians or Whitewater Rescue Technicians

. This made us able to do lots of river based scenarios.
We had lots of fun with the pig parts and wounds lab!

The lungs we got were a bit damaged but we were still able to show the effects of near drowning and able to inflate them in parts as well.
We even got a bit of pink frothy speutum to show as well. Glen looks like he is having a bit too much fun cutting up the heart!!

I can’t thank everyone abroad enough for their hospitality and kindness. Also, a huge thanks for their understanding and dealing with the language barriers. What an amazing adventure in such a beautiful part of the world!! Thanks again everyone!
